Dreaming of a White Christmas

Gareth and I have both had a couple of weeks off work, where we house sat at my bosses' lovely house and had a couple of days spent in Devon. We had a lovely Christmas starting with Skyping our families, followed by present opening, lunch at the pub, and my auntie's friend came for dinner. Gareth roasted turkey and we had mulled wine, cranberry sauce and all the trimmings!

Devon is beautiful and we want to go back in the Spring. Maybe we will, maybe we won't! It all depends on time, which is quickly running out here! I loved where we stayed in Devon (see below). It was amazing to have fresh air, and please note the binoculars on the window seat for bird watching! 

For New Year's Eve we had Leonie and Vaughn come and stay. We had a good few days with them, lots of laughs and watched the London fireworks display which made our jaws literally drop! Hope you have had a nice Christmas and New Years! I'm looking forward to next summer and being home for all the celebrations.

Work Trip to Maine

I had the privilege of being taken to America with my nanny family...So cool! Great opportunity as I had never been to the States before. Here are a few pics...

Well, it's Summer sales...not that Summer has really hit London but I found myself  "needing" some summer staples...

Bergerac

I had a really nice time staying with my nanny family in Bergerac, mostly visiting wineries (which involved keeping the boys occupied) and eating and drinking!This was my room in the chateau.
